Frequently Asked Questions

1. How long does this health check take?

Approximately 5–6 hours. All assessments are coordinated for minimal waiting.

2. How should I prepare for the visit?

With Apollo ProHealth, you have the option to NOT fast overnight for your health check. Following the latest clinical research, overnight fasting is no longer mandatory. Just ensure that the meal you eat prior to your health check is light and non-fatty. However, if you prefer to fast overnight or have been advised to do so by your doctor, please fast for 10-12 hours before your appointment. Please continue to take your usual medication and carry any previous medical records. Please refrain from having alcohol or tobacco the previous evening.

3. Is the mammogram painful?
There may be mild discomfort when the breast is pressed between the plates of mammogram machine, but it is quick and is performed by trained female radiographers.

4. Will I get my results on the same day?
Most reports are available on the same day. Consultations with doctors are scheduled once tests are complete and at your convenience.

5. What happens after the health check?
Once you receive your results, your ProHealth physician will review them and recommend any follow-up tests and consultations, as well as any lifestyle changes that may be required. You will then be assigned a Health Mentor who will follow up with you to carry out your physician recommendations and help you achieve your health goals.
