Overview
Dr. Hiba Siddiqui is a senior onco-psychologist with over 13 years of experience in delivering specialized psychosocial care in oncology. Clinically trained at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (New York) and University College Dublin (Ireland), she brings global expertise in psycho-oncology, counselling psychology, sexual health communication, and survivorship care. She is among the first in India to integrate sexual health communication into clinical cancer care—an essential yet often under-addressed aspect of recovery.
Her work focuses on psychosocial cancer care, survivorship support, grief and bereavement counselling, adolescent and adult mental health, and structured support group programs that are focused on organ-specific cancers. She has designed comprehensive psychosocial care pathways across leading healthcare institutions, improving access and support for patients, survivors, caregivers, and oncology teams.
With Dr. Hiba’s expertise, Athenaa deepens its commitment to holistic cancer care—creating a safe space for difficult conversations, strengthening family support systems, and helping patients regain a sense of control, confidence, and continuity in life beyond cancer.
