The service extends support to various emergency cases, including paediatric patients, with all necessary life-saving equipment available onboard. Furthermore, the air ambulance network plays a crucial role in transporting organs from brain-dead patients for transplantation at different locations.

How to Access the Ambulance Service?

  • Contact our Emergency Response Service at 1066 and provide essential details about the emergency.
  • Our Paramedic will assess the medical condition through detailed questions, offering on-call First Aid Advice to manage the patient until further medical help arrives.
  • The Paramedic/Doctor will determine the mode of transportation (Ground and/or Air Ambulance) and notify the Emergency Dispatch Management unit.
  • The Ground Ambulance will provide onsite primary medical care, transferring the patient to the Nearest Stabilization Centre to safeguard the Golden Hour.
  • Alternatively, the Ground Ambulance will transfer the patient to the designated Helicopter Landing Zone or Airport, from where they will be transported to the nearest Apollo Hospital for immediate care.
  • The cost of these services will range from Rs.1.6 to 2 lakhs per hour depending on the type of aircraft, travel distance and condition of the patient.
